After you read these documents you are going to create a thesis statement in response to the essential question. Be sure to collect evidence from the text to support your thesis statement. When doing this consider whether the evidence you are choosing appeals to a reader through ethos, pathos or logos.

How did the experience with Sway compare to presentations your students have made using Story Maps?
Hi Mary, StoryMaps is location focus. Sway is a more flexible storytelling tool. Actually Sway replaced iBooks Author for final projects in this course. Both blend a variety of media. I felt that iBooks Author was long overdue for an update and still is Mac only. Sway is web-based and viewable on any platform. It has built in accessibly, public domain search and collaboration tools. Students found Sway very easy to use with minimal instruction from me.
